New Zealand Street Maps and Directions
August 31, 2007 ·
With new Yellow Pages online maps, you can give your customers a detailed map to your business as well as step by step instructions on how to get there from wherever they are located. The map can be printed or emailed.
To see a map of your place, go to the Yellow Maps website.
- Enter your street address and suburb.
- View a map of your location
- Move your mouse around to zoom in and out and see more in different directions
- Click on “Get Directions”, enter a second location and you get step-by-step instructions on how to your place from the airport or the bus station or wherever
- Print the map or email to your clients
Putting a map on your website
If most of your clients come to you from the airport, city centre or elsewhere, search for directions, then paste a copy of these onto your website for clients to use. The directions function includes distances which can be useful when writing your content to. Eg. We are only 15km from the city centre.
You can also include a link to your map on your website with a thumbnail of the map too. Other uses are including links to other places of interest to your clients such as nearby cities or tourist attractions. If your website includes a list of what to do in your area, why not add a map link to each listing.
