Whiteboards for Websites
February 26, 2008
I discovered a really great business tool the other day… skrbl Realtime whiteboards allow you to draw freehand, type text, upload screenshots and images and even files onto an online whiteboard. You get a unique web address for each board you create then invite various people to view it. They simply click on the address and can not only see what you can see, but can add their own text, drawings and comments. Any number of people can be looking at and adding to the same board at the same time.
Draw me a picture or write a note on the graffitti board below to see how easy it is to use.
Visit the skrbl website at www.skrbl.com to get started or click on the button below. There are free and paid versions of the whiteboard.

If you would like to display product photos, a portfolio of your work or photos of work in progress on your website/blog, setting up a Flickr Photo Gallery is one way to go. You can upload multiple photos quickly and easily, organise them into sets, then choose widgets or badges to display your photos automatically on your website or blog. You can even create an automatic blog post when you upload a new photo. [Read more]
Use Your Blog as an E-Newsletter
February 5, 2008
When added to your Wordpress website or blog, this plugin turns your blog posts into email newsletters.
These are automatically sent out to your subscriber list when you publish your post.
You can add subscribers yourself and include a signup box on your website so people can subscribe themselves to receive your blog posts via email.
You can write your posts under any number of different categories and subscribers can choose to receive all posts or only those written under the categories they are interested in.
You can customise the design and layout of your email newsletter with your logo and branding, as well as adding images, promotional text and website links.

If you’re still sending out monthly email newsletters using your office computer or spending a lot of time organising customer emails, there is an easier way. A blog post contains the same type of information you would include in an e-newsletter plus it is published to your website for search engines and new customers to discover as well as being emailed to your subscribers.
