Testimonials

Here’s what some of my clients say about their WordPress Websites.

James Madelin of Orbis Flash says

“I finally made the jump and had a small company up north (of all places) called “creative ideas” (www.creativeideas.co.nz) rebuild my website on a very common platform called WordPress.  The new website is full of fantastic functionality that I’ve wanted for a long time (Google Maps, Video, etc.). The best bit is that WordPress is such a common platform that almost anything you could want done has already been done and can be implemented by downloading the right plugin. Brilliant. If this sounds like an advert, it’s not…. I owe nothing to creative-ideas or Young&Shand other than the fact that they have both unlocked my company website’s long-suppressed potential and I couldn’t be happier. I think that excellent service deserves to be raved about from the rooftops so here I am doing it. I just discovered that within a week of the changeover, plugging the search term “orbis” into google now puts my website way up near the top. Something the website administered by the company in Panmure hadn’t been able to do for two years.”

Suzanne Kendrick of The Connector says…

www.theconnector.co.nz – my new site! Huge thanks to @dialogCRM and @nzwebwoman. Hugely recommend these two for WordPress sites.

Rod Drury of Context Connect says…

“Site, looks great!!!!  I love how you’ve understood our material and livened the site up. You’ve even grabbed out recent stories.”

Hayden Foulds from the New Zealand Rose Society says…

“The New Zealand Rose Society (Inc) has had a website for the last 10 years but it had become very tired, mainly because it was difficult to update. I was given the job of getting a new website up and running that would better promote roses and the New Zealand Rose Society (Inc).

After several frustrating months of researching possible options, I came across Jo Couchman from Creative Web Ideas. From the initial consultation, Jo knew exactly what I was after from the site and has included a number of features such as an online shop, events calendar, photo gallery for a very reasonable price.

Getting the site up and running was very easy, Jo made several suggestions to improve the site and happily accommodated numerous changes from me as things progressed. We now have a site to be very proud of and those in attendance at our AGM in April 2009, where the new site was presented, were very positive about the new site and what had been achieved.

Its early days for the new site, but I’m very confident that it will become a valuable tool for promoting roses and the New Zealand Rose Society (Inc) for many years to come. “

Rachel Knight from The Kitchen Garden says…

“I was sending out a regular newsletter to my customers by email, but wanted to set up a blog for people to subscribe to automatically. A blog would ensure I generated regular, fresh content for my website. It also enabled me to keep in contact with potential customers. I was keen to give customers a way they could purchase on-line. I didn’t have the skills to set up a blog or on-line shopping, although I had developed my existing website in Microsoft FrontPage from scratch.

Jo Couchman from WordPress Websites specialises in providing businesses like mine with on-line tools in a cost effective way. I wanted the development of my website to be a stand-alone project. I still wanted to be able to do everything on a day-to-day basis myself. I also valued having someone who knew the website who could give support or upgrade it in future. Jo set up a new website for me in WordPress, using some of my existing content. This included the functionality to manage a regular blog. She added a calendar and on-line shopping basket.

I’m getting great responses from everyone who subscribes to my blog. Everyone looks forward to getting regular updates. It’s inspiring and helping many people to grow their own produce. I know some people send it to their friends and the distribution list is growing every week, without any other promotion.”
