If you’re using the WP E-Commerce plugin to run your WordPress online shop, there is a great addon plugin to calculate shipping based on the weight of your products and which continent/country/region you are shipping them to.
The WP E-Commerce Weight & Destination Shipping Modules plugin lets you break down your shipping into countries and then regions inside each country. You can also setup per continent shipping based on weight.
You set a price for each weight range for each country and region, then add a weight to each of your products. Customers select their region at checkout and the shipping is calculated automatically based on the total weight of products ordered.

Easy Order and Payment Forms
April 11, 2011
The latest version of Gravity Forms has new set of payment fields like product, options, shipping and quantity which you can add to your forms to turn them into Order Forms. The total field will automatically calculate the total of the items you have selected and display it on the form before it is submitted.
You can then go a step further and upload the PayPal addon so that when the form is submitted, the user is taken to your PayPal account to pay using their credit card. This allows you to gather any amount of information from your customers at the time of ordering and simultaneously accept payment for your event, workshop or other service. Note that the PayPal addon is only available with the developer version of Gravity Forms.
Gravity Forms pricing options are perfect for:
- paid or free event/workshop registrations
- websites with only a few products (no need to install e-commerce plugins)
- Order Forms to calculate total (customer pays later)
- Pay different people for different products
- Pay to add a post or listing to website (great for real estate)
- Pay to become a website user (with login)
- Accepting donations
If you don’t have Gravity Forms, click on the banner above to purchase a copy.
